Google Adsense is one of the best and oldest monetization networks to generate revenue from your blog or website. Google Adsense allows publishers to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements, that are targeted to site content and audience. Google Adsense was founded in 2003, and ever since it has been most popular and most reliable monetization network among all. Google's algorithms consider a lot of factors such as the website content, the user's geographical location etc. when serving advertisements on your website. It is a combination of various factors, but website content, i.e. the keywords in your blog or article are given a high priority when serving ads on your website or blog. If your blog has a decent amount traffic, then you can potentially earn 3 or 4 times more than what you are earning at present. Let's dig a little deeper into this.
How can you increase your earnings with High CPC words?
Consider you have two different blog posts on your website, one related to say relationships and other related to loan amortization. Now, the Google algorithms work in such a way that they will show ads which are related to the keywords in your article. Generally, keywords in "relationships or dating" domain have low CPC, and keywords in the "loan or financial" domain have a very high CPC. Now, let's try to do some calculations.
Say you get around 10,000 ad impressions on your "relationship or dating niche". Assuming a CTR of 1%, you will get 100 clicks on your ads. The ads served on "dating or relationship" niches, usually get CPC around 0.15 USD. So, using these assumptions your total earnings will be:
$0.15 X 100 =$15
In the second scenario, say you get only 4000 ad impressions on your "finance or loan/insurance niche". Assuming a CTR of 1%, you will get 40 clicks on your ads. The ads served on these niches, usually get CPC around 1 USD. So, using these assumptions your total earnings will be:
$1 X 40 =$40
So, even though you had lesser traffic and lesser ad clicks and impressions, you still end up with $15 more in your pocket. And that's why you must have heard from people "All traffic is not equal". Though traffic location also has it's effect on CPC, but you can't simply ignore the effect of keywords on your earnings.
Okay, now you must be wondering "Yeah, certain keywords have very CPC and lead to better results, but which are these words??" Don't worry, now we are going to list some those words now.

Because, if don't have too many numbers in traffic, you will have to rely on high CPC rates. So, this would definitely work for you. But, for those who already have a huge amount of traffic, it may or may not work that well, because there is always a trade-off between niche and traffic. Posts relating to finance or loan amortization may not attract too much traffic as compared to memes or viral story. So, you just have to test things, which works best for you. Too much traffic or a high CPC.
