Dashcam captures motorcyclist's crash

A Minnesota woman’s dashcam caught the moment a motorcycle crashed.

When Linda Leverty bought a dashcam, she hoped to record wildlife that often crosses the roads near her home in rural Longville, Minn. Instead of the wildlife, she ended up capturing a motorcycle crash, thanks to an unsecured load.

As seen in the video below, the rolled-up pad hurtles off the back of the boat. The biker, Jankowski, tries unsuccessfully to swerve.

He hits the big pad head-on, which flips his motorcycle into the air and flings him onto the pavement in the left lane. The SUV never stops.

Jankowski was able to walk to the left shoulder of the highway on his own, out of the way of further danger.

Jankowski was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he was treated for minor injuries.
